Joe Sutton was a successful public relations man to the stars, then artists' manager. The first professional feather in his cap was to convince a young songwriter to perform.
Doubting if anyone would want to see him perform on stage, Neil Diamond nonetheless took Sutton's advice, and the rest, as they say, is history.
In 1998, Sutton began going through major changes in his life and evaluating what he waned to do with the rest of it. It wasn't Public Relations.
He closed his P R office and began a personal journey that began with Meditation and brought him into the world of writing, consulting, radio/Podcasting and archiving precious stories of the entertainment industry with the residents of the Motion Picture & Television Fund Campus. He began to reevaluate his life, learning to to appreciate the people around him, and to recognize just how blessed he really was. As Cary Grant once remarked upon spying Sutton with his sons, "I think you're the luckiest man I've ever seen."
